Coaching Philosophy

My coaching focuses on teaching essential executive function skills, self advocacy, and study habits. I use a growth mind set approach specific to the unique needs and goals of each student building a practical tool kit of strategies they can take with them. The foundation of my coaching is building and maintaining a trusting relationship through focusing on student interests, strengths, curiosities with compassion to allow students to truly be themselves and take responsible risk. This connection comes before I make any asks of a student.
